Katie is Meghan's older sister. As J.P. often says, her "glory days" were when she dated Groots and McNair, back when Mater Dei football ruled the OC, and our very own Katie Duffy was a football manager, weighing in at about 1/4 the size of the players and coaches. For the past five years, Katie has worked for two of Orange County's top OB/GYN's as their back office Medical Assistant, and as supervisor of the front office employees. She has traveled the world, from Sydney, Australia, to Krakow, Poland, to Hanoi, Vietnam. Today, Katie lives with Meghan in a little cottage in eastside Costa Mesa. Since moving in together in February 2008, they've learned to share everything -- from a bathroom, to clothes, to a good bottle of wine. For anyone interested ... she will be needing a new roomie around summer 2010.

Ewin Dutty, as we call her, is Meghan's little sister ... although she is about 2 inches taller than Meghan. As kids, poor Erin was the one who got to be bossed around by Meghan. Each day they followed a strict routine before and after school, that was established and enforced by Meghan. Although her rules weren't the most fun at times, like the good little sister she was, Erin always obeyed. Erin graduated from the University of Portland in May 2009 with a degree in theology. She now works for the Orange Diocese as the Youth Ministry and Confirmation leader for Christ Our Savior Cathedral Parish.

Lauren is Meghan's cousin ... and yes boys, she's her baby cousin, so don't get any ideas. Growing up in Yorba Linda, Lauren learned to ride and show Quarter horses, following her mother's footsteps. Meghan and her sisters loved visiting her house growing up, because they always had some new and interesting pet to play with -- a ferret, an iguana, a huge salt water fish tank, sheep, ducks, chickens, a bearded dragon, a chameleon, and the list could keep going! Lauren graduated from Mater Dei this past summer, and is now attending Rancho Santiago Community College.

Ashley is the soon-to-be sister-in-law to Meghan. Being just a year apart in age, Ashley and Meghan quickly became friends, and are often confused as real sisters. In college, Ashley played NCAA Division I basketball for the University of San Diego, as a 3-year starter and team captain her senior year. Ashley now works for the Irvine Company, and is one of its top leasing consultants.

Rachel and Meghan have been friends for over 20 years, ever since they met in kindergarten at St. John the Baptist. Following grade school, the two went on to high school together at Mater Dei, and then went their separate ways for college. Rachel, being the brilliant girl that she is, went to UCLA -- go Bruins! Rachel recently graduated from USC Law School, and took the bar to become an official lawyer. Her next step will probably be to save the world, one case at a time!

Emily and Meghan became friend's sophomore year at Mater Dei. They first met on the infamous Mater Dei lunch benches -- only seats, no tables. She was spunky, enthusiastic and played sports, making it easy for them to become friends. Emily went on to Stanford University to pursue a degree in communication studies, and her love for the Stanford waterpolo team -- men in speedos. She is now attending graduate school at UCLA Anderson.
