Meghan and J.P., or "Suge" as his friends call him, met at Mater Dei back in 2001. Meghan had been set up on a date for the Winter Formal dance with Jon Daze, who happened to be one of J.P.'s good friends and volleyball teammates. From across the lunch benches Jon showed J.P. his Winter Formal date, and that's when J.P. first saw Meghan.

A few months later, Corey Gonyea, another one of J.P.'s friends and volleyball teammates, discovered that J.P. had a school-boy crush on Meghan. Luckily enough, Corey was dating Rachel Hilliard, who happened to be Meghan's best friend. (did you follow all of that?) After devising a plan, Corey and Rachel invited all of their friends, including Meghan and J.P., to a day at the beach. After a successful day of beach football and ice cold body surfing, Meghan and J.P. began to hit it off.

The next week, J.P. asked Meghan out in the Mater Dei parking lot in front of his white Ford Mustang, and finalized it with a kiss on her cheek after she said yes. On June 8, 2001, they went and saw Shrek, and have since seen Shrek 2 and 3 as they've come out in theaters. The wedding will mark over nine years together.
